• Lost fillings: Losing a dental filling can cause sensitivity and discomfort. Contact your dentist to schedule an appointment for a replacement filling. In the meantime, avoid chewing on the affected tooth and maintain good oral hygiene practices.
• Abscesses: Dental abscesses are painful infections that occur in the tooth root or the space between the tooth and gum. If you suspect an abscess, seek immediate dental care. Ignoring an abscess can lead to further complications and the spread of infection.
• Injuries to gums or mouth: Injuries to the gums or mouth, like cuts, lacerations, or puncture wounds, should be assessed by a dental professional. Gently rinse the area with warm salt water to clean it, and apply gentle pressure with a clean cloth or gauze to control bleeding.
